The Institute’s founders believe that a highly focused approach is
needed for building the right infrastructure and training in
high-entry barrier fields, which could contribute to the long-term
sustainable competitiveness and economic benefits to India. The
Institute’s long term vision is thus to address the gaps, needs
and competitiveness in a rapidly changing biomedical and
biotechnology environment, which are closely tied to education,
training and health. The Institute plans to provide and lead a
dynamic and global forum for creating cross-sectional exchange of
knowledge among the academic and industry scientists, and leaders
and policy makers to augment and support new technologies,
training and leadership opportunities and thus, reinforce
competitiveness in the areas of health, education, food and
agriculture, and the environment. |
